Newent Probus Club have regular group outings including monthly pub lunches, theatre trips, historical buildings and visits to various points of interest. Partners and friends are very welcome to join us on all occasions.

“In his younger days, Graham Mawdsley was recruited as a Meteorologist by the British Antarctic Survey and was assigned to their most remote base for a 2-year contract, living and working on (and under) the Antarctic ice. Graham will talk about the lead-up to this adventure and what life was like with 17 other men and two dogs in this harsh environment in the mid 1970’s”
“Kirstie will be delving into the weird and wonderful history of Witchcraft superstition”
Start the Christmas Festivities by attending our Christmas Lunch for good food and good company with your friends from the club. (including a special raffle!) This year’s Christmas lunch venue will be hosted in the “Moat Suite” at The Hatherley Manor Hotel, Down Hatherley Lane, Gloucester, GL2 9QA. The cost of the lunch is £25 per person.
