David is an old colleague of Peter Moore from his Africa days. He has previously visited Newent with talks about Elephants and the buiding of the Kariba Dam. He has been working for some time on a new presentation on the big cats of Africa David writes: ‘There are eight different species of cat in Africa, ranging from the tiny black-footed cat to the mighty lion. In this talk, David Lemon explains how they live, what they feed on and what sort of future there is left for them with the human population of the continent so rapidly expanding.’
