After a brief look at the history of transport, the talk will concentrate upon developments in the latter half of the 20th Century and the increasing challenges of Road, Rail and other modes of transport. The talk will end with explanations of all the systems that have been introduced in the 21st Century and look at possible developments in the foreseeable future.
