So the directions are :– Newent to Mitcheldene, turn right over Plump Hill on the A4136 towards Monmouth, past Worral Hill and on to the ‘Five Acres Campus’, Turn right at the cross roads towards English Bicknor down Joyford Pitch. The second turn on the right should reveal the Dog and Muffler. The alternative route is down the A40 to Monmouth, turn left at the traffic lights over the bridge and drive uphill on the A4136 in the opposite direction, and turn left at the Berry Hill crossroads down Joyford Pitch, then second right.
