Dorian Osborne is Chairman of Linton History Society. This illustrated talk seeks to explain the events which led up to the actual event the given artists have chosen to depict, and also the aftermath where relevant or known. The aim is to provide a view of history through the artist who, in most examples, was alive at the time, if not actually there at the event, and which has been almost totally ignored by most popular art historians.
